Another highlight of my month was working with Aberlour a charity that help children, young people and families across Scotland, helping transform lives for the better. We delivered 2 sessions across Three Towns and Kilwinning by engaging young children and their parents in outdoor play. We had loads of fun learning about bugs and beasties and how they help us pollinate our food. Then we had a fantastic day at Ardrossan South Beach learning all about shells, crabs, jellyfish and sea potatoes! Or Barbara as one of the children named them.

I have been highlighting recently that I have been collecting data on what Green Health opportunities have been happening over the past year – starting with January to December 2020. This is part of the North Ayrshire Green Health Partnership National Evaluation. Please, please give us any information if you have not already it is so useful to us. Tell us all about ways in which you supported people by taking part in Green Health when everything was closed. Was it delivering food parcels from fresh produce volunteers grew at your community garden? Did you deliver activities with community hubs? Let us know!
